So I am getting back into this blogging stuff. Here is October in review.
Dave has been a busy boy with his new(ish) calling as Young Mens President. He seems to be loving it though. Sundays seem to be his busiest days with all the meetings he needs to go to. Then Wednesday night is his usual scout night. Of course Saturdays are usually busy with the BYU football games. He has 2 season tickets this year and I know he's been loving it. He has yet to take me to a game though. Haha, oh well. I guess if I were a bigger fan I would mind.
He has also been working on more house projects. He has taken the garage apart somewhat. He added a utility sink out there and knocked out part of our closet to make more room in the garage for the cars. He also moved the door that goes into the house over, and jackhammered out the step where the door used to be. He is working on putting the sheetrock back up so we can organize it better to get the cars back in there.
(I won't mention that he needs to finish the inside still-bits and peices)
Amber- I haven't really been up to a whole lot. Hmm... I help out in Amberlee's kindergarten class about once a month. Just trying to keep up with the 3 kids.
I was released as an Activity Day leader. No new calling yet.
Amberlee has also had a busy month. She had her first field trip to the Bean Museum at BYU and got to ride on a school bus. She thought that was really fun. She learned how to ride her bike without any training wheels, has learned how to snap, and has learned to tie her shoes. She is working on her cartwheels, and wants to learn how to whistle.
She is loving kindergarten and loves learning. She is also doing really well with reading. She has a best friend in her class named Taylor.
She is also a very big helper to mom with her little brother and sister.
Travis is a crazy little guy. He is always getting into everything! He sure is cute though!! He loves his superheros. His favorites are Superman, Batman and Spiderman. He's always running around the house singing the theme songs. He's not quite into the learning. He'd rather be playing or watching superman. He does know his colors and shapes and can sing the alphabet song and knows his number to 10. So I guess he's still doing pretty well. He just doesn't like sitting down and writing. It will come eventually though I think.
He loves his sisters and "tries" to help!
Bridget is a tease! She likes being silly. She had her first birthday Sept. 29th. She has been walking since 10 1/2- 11 months (alone). She is now starting to run. She loves playing with her brother and sister. She has 8 teeth so far.
She also seems to be our most social out of the 3. On Sundays she will go visit everyone during Sunday school. (Just don't pick her up, she's still a mommas girl too)
So I hope to be able to keep this up to date so you know what is going on at the Johnson house. Y'all know we aren't good about emailing. I will be adding pictures as well.
